Shalford is a values-based learning community, committed to the education of the whole child.

We teach our values through everything we do and through our daily assemblies and Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) curriculum.  Values displays are an integral part of our learning environment.  Our values have been constructed as a whole school community, building on the input of school adults, parents and carers, school leadership and the children themselves.

Learning dispositions are habits of the mind - particular ways of behaving which allow us to be successful learners. We always strive to be independent, aspirational and adventurous learners. These dispositions are modelled by all school adults, with carefully planned opportunities to apply and develop them taking place throughout our learning each day.
